In mid-February Unipower was invited to speak at the seminar “Oman Techconnect” at Nizwa University.
In Russom Kebedom’s presentation, he outlined the development of Power Quality (PQ) in Oman. The talk covered the evolution of PQ practices in the Sultanate, key technical challenges in the sector, and recent technological developments aimed at improving grid performance and reliability.
He also addressed the near-term outlook for PQ in Oman, including expected regulatory developments, ongoing modernization efforts, and potential opportunities within the power sector.
The session concluded with an open discussion with students and faculty members.
