Power and Power Quality analysis at UK Gas Terminal

Together with HVPD, our partner in UK, we have performed a power/energy and power quality study at a UK Gas Terminal.

Active and reactive power flow during different operating modes were studied. Power quality, especially harmonics were compared to relevant standards.

Disturbances, especially sag events, can be disruptive for production plants and need to be monitored. A recommendation was made to install permanent monitoring to be able to track power and disturbances in the future.
